Blevins Natural History
It Began with a Cave Bear
Decades ago, as a young man visiting New York City for the first time, I stood face-to-face with a full-size Cave Bear skeleton at the American Museum of Natural History. That Ice Age behemoth, with bones so unbelievably thick, gave me a chill of awe that would never leave.
That single encounter, when awe became curiosity, changed everything. Years later, my wife Pamela and I founded Blevins Natural History Gallery to create those moments of wonder for others.
That moment of awe shouldn't be rare. Yet across the country, millions of people never get the chance to stand face-to-face with Earth's ancient past. In Washington State, there's only one location where you can see real dinosaur fossils on display.
Access to natural history specimens is severely limited. Museums are concentrated in major cities. School field trips require funding that most districts don't have. Authentic fossils remain out of reach for the communities that need them most.
Through authenticated collections, museum-quality replicas, traveling exhibits, and guided gallery experiences, we make the awesome accessible.

"...from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved."
— Charles Darwin

Our Mission & Values
To unite scientific integrity with artistry, making Earth's story accessible through authentic specimens, traveling exhibits, and educational partnerships that transform wonder into stewardship.
How We Solve It
We believe wonder is the beginning of understanding. That Earth's magnificent story belongs to everyone — collectors, students, families, and curious minds. When you understand Earth's history, your relationship to the planet shifts. Curiosity becomes understanding. Understanding becomes care.
